Waste Aware Schools is an online project that promotes recycling in schools. Pupils can find out how to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle at school. They can also choose and print Waste Aware Posters to promote recycling in schools.

Squidoo.com/recyclingfacts showcases a selection of fast facts, resources, tips and news items about recycling with a particular emphasis on educating kids on how to recycle. It's updated on a regular basis to keep the information fresh and new items added at least twice a week.

This website asks schools to register and then calculate their carbon footprint using the kit provided. You can then compare your schools results with other schools around the UK
