Cumbria County Councils Waste Prevention Officers can offer advice and support to Cumbria`s education and community sector. Our team possesses a wealth of waste reduction experience and knowledge to help advise Cumbrian schools and community groups the best way to educate their own pupils or group members.

For pupils

We can offer notes and presentations for you to deliver in assemblies based on the 3Rs of reducing, reusing and recycling.

For staff

We are happy to deliver training sessions to your teaching staff on the 3Rs to ensure they have sufficient knowledge to confidently incorporate the subject into lesson plans.
