Rubbish Rebels

Rubbish Rebels

Rubbish Rebels is a brand-new interactive resource kit for teachers, all about waste reduction & recycling for all primary schools in Cumbria.

It began in 2017 as a pilot run by Cumbria Action for Sustainability (CAfS), for Cumbria County Council, but it`s back for the new 2018 - 19 school year with a super new format.

•It`s an easy-to-use, self-contained package covering elements of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

•This free programme of lesson plans and activities includes videos especially made for Rubbish Rebels, worksheets and practical activity guides.

•Schools can take part at any point from the 2018-19 academic year.

•All schools that complete the full Rubbish Rebels programme will gain an award.

If you are a teacher and think your class would love this fun way to learn about reducing waste and recycling, you can register your interest now and you`ll be first to receive the resource kit when it`s ready in the new 2018-19 term.
