Kirkby Stephens Repair Café returns in association with Kirkby Stephen and Upper Eden Good Neighbours Scheme. It`s so much better to repair things if possible rather than chuck them out and buy replacements. If you have something to fix bring it along.

Another G&T day in Kirkby Stephen. A free jumble sale so you can give away any unwanted items and pick up anything that`s there - all for nothing. Please do not bring large items such as furniture.

Any items left over will be Freegled or given to a local charity shop.


Staveley Waste Less Festive Freegle Give & Take event

Saturday 25th November - Staveley Institutue, 10am - 12midday

Bring along good condition toys, puzzles, games and books to make space for Santa`s 2017 presents


• bring along those unused Christmas decorations that stay in the box from year to year
• Take away something you can use, absolutely free


• There will also be a donation point for our local Food Bank, so please look in your cupboards for those spare items, which are still within their use-by date and bring them along too


• The Staveley Big Onion Community Stall will be selling gifts all made within 30 miles of the village.


• After visiting the Freegle in the Institute , come to the Village Hall (next door) and for £1.00 enjoy a mince pie and a coffee or tea with Staveley WI
